PHIL MCCARTHY

NEW ENGLAND REGIONAL OPERATIONS MANAGER

Phil has been key to the success of many company initiatives since 2000, and currently oversees all New England operations for GottaDo, ensuring regulatory compliance at all facilities and logistics for special projects.

Among his many accomplishments, Phil wrote and implemented the company-wide OSHA Safety and Health Program used by all WeCare and GottaDo facilities, and operations managers. His professional certifications include OSHA 29 CFR 1910.20, Safety and Supervisor’s Training, OSHA Confined–Space Entry and Competent Person Training to name just a few. He also earned the OSHA SHARP Certification (Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program) status for the Marlborough facility, a designation which recognizes small business employers who operate an exemplary injury and illness prevention program. The Marlborough facility’s SHARP certified status was one of only 13 facilities in the State of Massachusetts to be awarded the designation.

Prior to his work for the WeCare and GottaDo organizations, Phil managed hazardous waste cleanup projects, landfill closures, and emergency response cleanup operations, for a variety of business, municipal, and government concerns.

Phil holds a B.A. from the University of Massachusetts (Amherst), concentrating in Environmental Technologies, and plays a critical role in improving efficiencies for GottaDo and a growing customer base.
